“I’ll only be five minutes…” — gutters aren’t worth a life-changing fall

“I’ll only be five minutes…” The leaves have moved in. The moss has put down roots. And your gutters appear to have applied for garden status. 🍂 It’s tempting to grab a ladder and sort it yourself. But the pictures make a serious point: one slip can change a life. Here in Kinross, we know of two people who suffered devastating injuries after falls: one broke a hip, another broke their back, and one was left paralysed for life. We’re keeping their identities private. This isn’t a laughing matter. The photographs accompanying this story are illustrative; they do not show those local incidents. Leaves, moss and debris can stop rainwater flowing through your gutters and downpipes. Clearing that build-up helps prevent overflowing gutters and water running where it shouldn’t. Get your gutters cleared by a veteran-led business. We’ll point you towards our trusted independent gutter-cleaning specialist — fully insured and qualified.
