Glenfarg Community Centre · Community spotlight

Glenfarg Community Centre’s story grew when the neighbouring Schoolhouse was bought for the community in 2019. Volunteers helped prepare the rooms and garden, bringing the old house and village hall together as a shared local resource. Residents can help shape what happens next. The centre’s website offers free membership to people aged 16 or over living in the Glenfarg Community Council area, with opportunities to have a say at members’ meetings and the AGM. Look for the membership form on its official website. For a club, workshop or celebration, send your preferred date and facility requirements to bookings@glenfargcommunitycentre.org.uk. The centre lists meeting rooms, a kitchen and cinema equipment alongside its main hall. A forthcoming gathering is the Remembrance Sunday service on 8 November 2026 at 3.30pm in Glenfarg Village Hall, followed by wreath laying at the war memorial at 4pm, as confirmed by Kinross-shire Parish.
