Kinross Colts FC Juniors · Community spotlight

Behind a young footballer’s first team session is a network of local people giving their time. Kinross Colts FC Juniors, founded in 1986, is run by volunteers who coach, manage teams and serve on the committee. Its website invites anyone interested in helping to get in touch. For families exploring junior football, training is arranged by each team. The club says winter sessions generally use Loch Leven Community Campus’s artificial pitch, with grass pitches at the Myre and Donaldson Park used in spring and summer. Check with the appropriate coach about spaces, registration and the current venue before attending. Want to contribute off the pitch? Email kinrosscolts@gmail.com to ask where your time or skills could help, or use the club’s enquiry form. The club also describes ongoing training and development for its coaches and volunteers.
