Kinross Hockey Club · Community spotlight

A first hockey session can be about discovering a new interest. Kinross Hockey Club’s Kobras section welcomes children from age seven and lets prospective players try a few sessions before committing. The club can lend a stick for those first visits; children should bring their own shinpads and mouthguard. Ask the club which group and session would suit before heading down. There are ways for adults to get involved too. The 2026/27 registration guidance includes trialist membership for new players and a Club Support category for people helping with coaching, umpiring or volunteering. Contact the club to discuss taking part, then follow its current registration instructions: https://www.kinrosshockey.org/join/ Coming up: the official fixture list shows Kinross Ladies 2s at home against Dundee University 4s on Saturday 31 October 2026 at 2pm.
