A run with neighbours can reach further than the finish line. Kinross Road Runners reports that runners in the 2026 Loch Leven Half Marathon donated £760 to Kinross Community First Responders, supporting a local organisation that provides public-access defibrillators and CPR/AED awareness sessions.
Fancy taking part yourself? The club welcomes runners of different abilities, and its time-based intervals let people work at their own pace while training together. Membership is currently open from age 12; an adult must attend training with members aged 16 and under. Contact the membership secretary through the club website to ask about joining and a suitable first session. Meeting points vary, with current arrangements sent in weekly club emails.
The club’s three race pages currently list their 2027 dates as to be confirmed. Use the official event-alert links for announcements before making race plans.
