Kinross-shire Repair Café · Community spotlight
Bring an item, learn a repair or offer your skills: the next Kinross-shire Repair Café is listed for 14 November at Loch Leven Community Campus.
Gutters2glory Ltd · Restore • Revive • Renew

A repair can save an object—and teach its owner something useful. Kinross-shire Repair Café invites visitors to watch volunteers at work and learn how a mend is made. Since opening in April 2024, the project has aimed to keep belongings in use and out of landfill.
The next listed session is Saturday 14 November 2026, 10am–noon, at Loch Leven Community Campus, The Muirs, Kinross, KY13 8FQ. The organiser lists repairs covering textiles, electrical items, bikes and household objects. Contact kinrossrepaircafe@gmail.com before bringing a complex electrical repair; tool sharpening requires an appointment and has limited spaces. Check the event page for updates and the skills available on the day.
You can also take part by volunteering your repair or organising skills. The café says visitors pay for materials, with donations welcome to help it continue. Its work takes place at the drop-in sessions rather than through home visits or taking items away.
