KYTHE — Kinross-shire Youth Enterprise · Community spotlight

A first try at something creative can open a new door. In June 2026, KYTHE reported that enthusiasm for a DJ workshop had led to funding from the Gannochy Trust Youth Panel for its own decks. Young people then practised in small groups and had opportunities to perform—a local example of an interest growing into a new skill. KYTHE’s wider programme includes drop-ins, youth clubs, sessions around the school day and holiday activities. Young people and families can contact the Hub on 01577 869290 or office@kythe.org.uk to ask about an appropriate session and current joining arrangements. The Hub is on the Muirs, Kinross, KY13 8FP; an access form is available on KYTHE’s activity page. Local adults can also enquire about volunteering, from supporting activities and food preparation to fundraising or office tasks. KYTHE’s volunteer page explains the enquiry process and relevant child-protection checks. Confirm arrangements directly before attending.
