📧 “Gary, can you check my emails and find out who’s hosting my website?” That was supposed to be a small job. Our website had critical errors, and I wanted it sorted. A few days later, here we are. Apparently, I don’t do small projects. 😂 Some of you may have watched the website changing. Some of you are visiting for the first time. Either way: welcome to Gutters2glory. 💙 WHO ARE WE? We’re Steve and Arlene: a family business based in Kinross, serving Perth, Kinross and Fife. I’m an RAF veteran with a lifetime in the service industries. Arlene brings thirty-five years of nursing experience, care and patience—and keeps the bookings and conversations moving. And Ellie? Our Border Collie has somehow become the face of the operation. I’m beginning to think she’s management. 🐾 📊 A FEW NUMBERS THAT ACTUALLY MEAN SOMETHING • Established in 2016: ten years of Gutters2glory in 2026. • Thirty years of self-employment and business experience behind my ideas. • Thirty-five years in nursing behind Arlene’s care for people. • One very simple aim: do good work and treat people properly. 🧼 WHEN SOMEONE MAKES IT LOOK EASY… There’s usually experience behind it. Knowing the surface, noticing its condition and choosing a suitable approach matter as much as the equipment. Pressure washing is not about turning everything up and hoping for the best. We focus on pressure washing and soft washing: driveways, patios, suitable exterior surfaces, decking and paving care. We assess the work and explain what’s included. Gutters and roof enquiries go to our trusted independent veteran-run specialist, who confirms the scope and price directly. 📸 REAL WORK. REAL PEOPLE. I brought the experience—and quite a lot of “No, Gary, try this.” Gary helped me put the pages and features together. It has taken thought, patience and plenty of revisions. Looking simple doesn’t mean it was simple to build. It’s still developing, but I’m bloody proud of how far we’ve come. 🎵 MORE THAN A BROCHURE Our News Desk has room for real cleaning stories, local people and a little music nostalgia with DJ G2G.
