Steve’s “Oor Wullie Ginge” — a playful tribute illustration.
A special friend of our directory
Some pages have followers. This one has characters.
Fife Jammer Locations is a Facebook page built around things people see, photograph and send in from across the Kingdom. Local happenings, unusual sights and a comment section with a personality all of its own.
The page’s invitation says it plainly: “ye see it! ye send it!” And from an unexpectedly famous police car to a goat on the loose, the resulting stories have travelled well beyond the original post.
This is a personal tribute from Steve at Gutters2glory to a friend, a distinctive local voice and a page he loves. An invitation to everyone in Fife and beyond who has laughed, shared a story or benefited from a mention: give some appreciation back.

You couldnae make it up.
Four memorable stories shared by Fife Jammer Locations. A look back at the moments behind the banter.
Pictures shared by Fife Jammer Locations helped turn an unmarked police car with a memorable number plate into a local celebrity. The #BigKFE nickname caught on so well that Police Scotland used it in its own road-policing posts.
A video shared by the page showed a woman trying to push a Graham’s Family Dairy lorry up an icy Cowdenbeath hill. The Scotsman picked up the footage: an enormous vehicle, a slippery road and someone determined to lend a hand.
A goat wandering through Urquhart became an unlikely social-media star after the page shared pictures. The Daily Record later reported the happy ending: following a public appeal, the goat was safely home.
On its own website, Fife Jammer Locations gave a resting seal pup at Dysart the full comic treatment under the headline “Police scotland seal team!” The star of the story was enjoying a quiet moment in the sun.
A seal having a rest. Fife providing the commentary.
A small business knows what it means when someone puts its name in front of local people. A mention, a share, a conversation — those things can matter.
Steve’s message is simple: if Fife Jammer Locations gives your business free exposure, acknowledge it. Tag the page. Say thank you. Let people know where the support came from. Share something of his in return.
“If businesses want free advertisement, then they’ve got to also give Fife Jammers the credit that he deserves. So this is my credit to Fife Jammers.”Steve · Gutters2glory
That’s the spirit behind this page: a local business giving a local voice his flowers.
You’ve been a friend of mine for a while, and I wanted to put something proper on our website to say thank you.
I love the stories, the ridiculous moments and the way people pile in with a comment that makes you laugh all over again. Fife supplies the material. You give it a place to be seen.
As a Yorkshireman living here, I’m hardly known for keeping my opinions to myself. So here’s another one: to me, yours is the best Facebook page in the world. That’s my opinion, and I’m sticking to it.
For every person who’s had a laugh, sent something in or been grateful for a mention, I hope this gives them a reason to tell you so.
Sorry for calling you Ginge. You absolute bloody legend.
