The Fresh Fish Place opened its Kinross shop on 12 January 2021, in premises previously occupied by Kintronics. The February 2021 Kinross Newsletter introduced owners John and Hazel Stephen and described the arrival of the new fishmonger.
The Kinross shop at 167 High Street is now closed. Its closure was confirmed locally on 27 October 2026; the exact closing date has not been established.
