About Glenfarg Community Transport Group

The group was established to improve transport choices and reduce dependence on individual car journeys. Its activities include the 55 and 23 bus services, school transport, community minibus trips and walking-and-wheeling initiatives. Volunteer drivers help make social, shopping and cultural outings possible.

Taking part and getting in touch

The official website carries route information, current projects and community-bus booking guidance. Individuals and local groups can ask about organised outings or suitable group travel, subject to availability and the service’s conditions. People interested in volunteering can enquire about driver training or other roles. Timetables, fares and booking requirements should always be checked directly before travelling; this page describes the organisation rather than reproducing a timetable.

Local journeys and trips together

Contact & take part ↓

The group combines scheduled bus services with community minibus outings for shopping, culture and social activities. Local groups can enquire about a trip, while prospective volunteers can discuss driver training or trustee roles. Community-trip bookings depend on drivers and vehicle availability; private-hire conditions are more restrictive. Use the current timetable for scheduled journeys and the booking page for an organised outing.
