A nursery designed for different ages

Lauriston’s Kinross page describes provision from six weeks to five years. The nursery is arranged on one ground-floor level, with dedicated rooms for different stages of development and access to outdoor play. Meals are prepared in house, and the website explains the setting’s approach to care and learning.

Finding out about a place

The Kinross nursery has its own telephone number and email address, distinct from the group’s Dunfermline setting. The site provides parking for parents and is close to the Community Campus. Families can contact the nursery to enquire about a visit, available sessions, age-group spaces and the settling-in process. Ask the nursery for current fees and any funding arrangements, as these depend on the child and booking pattern.

Learning connected with the community

Lauriston Kinross’s 2024–25 report describes charity fundraising, a parent-organised family day and preschool visits to a local care home. The nursery publishes this review alongside its improvement priorities, giving families a way to see examples of activity beyond the everyday room descriptions.
