More than a name on the van
There’s a whole person behind Pegleg.
Mick is a Coldstream Guards veteran. In a public post on Pegleg’s own page, he described serving 24 years in the regiment. Today, the business gives customers a direct connection with the person doing the work.
The rugby photograph shows another side of Mick: out on the pitch, ball in hand. And his Facebook photos carry the same sense of humour you see around the business.
A service background. An independent next chapter.
A name you won’t forget
“Before you ask, it was a shark.” Mick’s T-shirt says it all. His own business page brings together the work, the man and a very recognisable sense of humour.
Pegleg has also shared an invitation to meet the business at Burnley’s Armed Forces Day at Towneley Park — a connection with the veteran community that runs beyond the working day.
