A closer look

An airfield with two very different chapters

Balado opened as RAF Balado Bridge in 1942, training wartime pilots. Decades later, the same site became familiar to music fans as the home of T in the Park from 1997 to 2014. Its present aviation use adds another chapter to that local history.
