Paving care · Gutters2glory Ltd
Two sanding options.
A clear choice.
Cleaning and re-sanding are quoted separately. Choose a lower-cost kiln-dried sand option, or ask about polymeric jointing sand where it suits your paving.
Ask about your paving ↗We explain the options, suitability and price before you decide. Open a topic below for more detail.
Kiln-dried sand · the lower-cost option
Kiln-dried jointing sand is brushed into suitable block-paving joints. It is our lower-cost sanding option. The paving and weather need to be suitable for the work, so re-sanding may require a return visit after cleaning.
Polymeric jointing sand · the higher-cost option
Polymeric jointing sand contains a binder that sets according to the product’s instructions. It is a more expensive option that can help stabilise joints and inhibit weed establishment. If your block paving repeatedly suffers from weeds, ask whether this option is suitable.
It is not a guarantee of permanently weed-free paving. Performance and installation requirements depend on the chosen product, joint dimensions, paving, drainage and weather. We confirm the product and scope in your quote.
Cleaning and sanding · two separate prices
Our indicative pressure-washing range is £3–£4 per square metre, depending on area, logistics, condition and chemical requirements. For example, 50m² gives an indicative cleaning range of £150–£200. This is a guide, not a confirmed quote or a minimum-charge promise.
Sanding is extra and quoted separately. Material choice, quantity and the work involved affect its price. Your written quote sets out what is included; the example above does not include sanding.
Weather, scheduling and sealing
We cannot promise that sanding will be possible immediately after cleaning. We arrange it when conditions meet the chosen material’s requirements.
Gutters2glory is SmartSeal trained, but we no longer offer paving sealing. We focus on cleaning, re-sanding and suitable aftercare.
Our free weed-treatment offer
We offer a free weed treatment with our cleaning work. Where weeds are excessive, we may discuss treatment before cleaning. If weeds return after we have completed your job, contact us: we are happy to arrange a free return weed treatment.
This offer is for treatment, rather than a promise that weeds will never return. We discuss suitability and timing for your property.
Real job photographs
Before-and-after photographs and examples of our sanding work will be added here as they become available.
Ask us which option fits your paving.
Send your postcode, approximate area and photographs of the surface and joints. Tell us about weeds, damaged joints or loose blocks so we can discuss the appropriate work.
